Day 01: Kathmandu – Lhasa In the Morning travel to Kathmandu airport to catch flight to Lhasa. Flight takes about an hour flying you over the panoramic Himalayan Ranges to the capital of Tibet "Lhasa". Lhasa is situated at a height of 3,650 mt, on the north bank of Kyichu River. Lhasa in Tibetan language means "Place of the Gods" and is the residence of the Dalai Lama.On arriving in Lhasa you will be met by our representative whowill transfer you to your hotel (60 km). Check into your hotel.
Spend rest of the day is at your own leisure to acclimatize.

Day 02: Lhasa In the morning after breakfast start a full day sightseeing tour of Potala Palace, Ramoche Monastery and Norbulinka. Potala Palace, is fabulous Palace built atop a single hill.This palace was built by the first and foremost king SongtsenGompa. Norbulingka means 'Treasure Park' covers an area of around 360,000 sq. mts. and is famed to be the biggest man made garden in Tibet.
Proceed to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 03: Lhasa After having breakfast embark on full day sightseeing tour of Sera Monastery, Jokhang Monastery and Barkhor Market. Sera Monastery is 5 Kms north of Lhasa. Sera and is one of Lhasa's attractive monasteries. Once this monastery was occupied by a community of more than 5,000 monks butwas destroyed by the Chinese. Jokhang Temple is located in the heart of Old Lhasa, it treasures Tibet's most precious religious relic, a golden Shakyamuni Buddha which was brought as a gift by the Chinese Princess Wen Cheng at the timeof her wedding to the Tibetan King, SongtsenGompo. Visit Barkhor Market place, which is the religious and social hub of Lhasa.

Day 04: Lhasa – Shigatse In the morning travel to Shigatse (273 kms). Shigasteis the 2nd most important city of Tibet. Later in the day proceed to the flee-market. After sightseeing at flee-market you will be transferred to hotel.

Day 05: Shigatse – Gyantse In the morning embark on tour of Tashilunpo Monastery. Tashilunpo Monastery came to existence in 1447 and is the largest Yellow Hat sect monastery in Tibet. Tashilunpo was the seat of the Panchen Lamas. Tashilunpo contains chortens, temples and the Panchen Lama's palace. At its peak, Tashilunpo used to have more than 4,000 monks in its 4 monasteries.
In the afternoon take a journey to Gyantse (90 kms). Gyantse is a small town situated south west of Lhasa. It is one among the few places where the Chinese have not changed much. Gyantse is famousfor its Fortress, the Dzong, a very special building, the Kimbum, and a monastery. In Gyantse visit theKumbum Stupa &Phalkor Monastery. A little further down the road you will see a wall built around the monastery and a strange building called the Kumbum. The monastery is called Pelkor Chode. It was founded in 1418. In the previous times there were a number of monasteries inside the walls but today there is just one left. It is visited by Gelugpa monks. The Kumbum is a building with a strange form. Inside it is even more strange because on the first 4 floors there are rooms that are only on 1 floor but also rooms that extend over 2 floors. Inside you will see a large number of statues. Day 06: Gyantse – Tsedang In the morning after breakfast take a drive to Tsedang via Yamdrok Lake (280 km). Tsedang is located on the south bank in the middle section of the YarlungTsangbo River with a modest climate at an elevation of 3,600 meters. Tsedang is the place of birth of earliest Tibetans who were said to be the offspring of a monkey and a demoness, so Tsedang literally means "monkey's playground". As per the legend. People say that genius had lived here long before the human beings came into Tibet. After the Gods of the genius got married, Hehad six sons who became the ancestors of the six tribes of Tibet respectively. Tsedang is the hometown of tribes and an important place from where the Tibetan culture originates. On arrival you will be transferred back to the hotel.

Day 07: Tsedang Enjoy a sightseeing tour of Yambulaghang and Samye. Samye Monastery was the first and the foremost Buddhist monastery to be founded in Tibet. It is also famous as the site of the "Great Debate" (792-794) between the Indian Mahayanists and Chinese Chán (Zen) Buddhists. Samye is famed for its sacred mandala design: the central temple represents the mythical Mount Meru, center of the universe. It is a pious pilgrimage destination for Tibetan Buddhists, some of whom even dare to travel on foot for weeks to reach this sacred place.

Day 08: Tsedang – Lhasa – Kathmandu Travel to Lhasa airport to catch your flight back to Kathmandu.
