Day 01: Kathmandu – Lhasa – Tsedang In the morning board a flight to Lhasa capital of Tibet from the Kathmandu International Airport. The flight takes almost an hour to reach
Lhasa and flies over the panoramic Himalayan Range. On reaching Lhasa you will be meeting our representative who will guide youwith your further travel to Tsedang (90 kms). On arrival in Tsedang you
will be checking into the hotel.
Tsedang is situated on the south bank in the middle section of the YarlungTsangbo River with a pleasant climate at a height of 3,600 meters above sea level. Tsedang is recognized as birthplace of earliest Tibetans who were said to be the offspring of a monkey and a demoness. The name Tsedangfactually means "monkey's playground". As themyth goes. Long before the people started living in Tibet genius had lived here. The Gods of the genius got married and they had six sons who became the ancestors of the six tribes of Tibet respectively. Tsedang is the home ground of tribes and an important place of advent of the Tibetan culture.

Day 02: Tsedang In the day embark on sightseeing tour of Yambulaghang and Samye. Samye Monastery was one of the first and foremost Buddhist monastery to be founded in Tibet. It is also famous as the site of the "Great Debate" (792-794) between the Indian Mahayanists and Chinese Chán(Zen) Buddhists. Samye is famed for its sacred mandala design.The central temple represents the mythical Mount Meru, center of the universe. It is a renowned pilgrimage destination for Tibetan Buddhists. Many Buddhists travel on foot for weeks to reach this famous place.

Day 03: Tsedang – Lhasa After having breakfast, travel to Lhasa (150 km). Lhasa at situated at an altitude of 3,650 mts. It is located on the north bank of Kyichu River. Lhasa in Tibetan language means "Place of the Gods".It is the residence of the Dalai Lama.
Proceed to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 04: Lhasa In the morning after breakfast set out on a full day sightseeing of Potala Palace, Ramoche Monastery and Norbulinka. Potala Palace, is fabulous Palace built atop a single hill is synonymous with Tibet by the first foremost king SongtsenGompa. Norbulingka means 'Treasure Park' covers an area of around 360,000 sq. mts. and is famed to be the biggest man made garden in Tibet.

Day 05: Lhasa After having breakfast in the morning embark on a full day sightseeing tour of Sera Monastery, Jokhang Monastery and Barkhor Market. Sera Monastery is located at a distance 5 Kms north of Lhasa, Sera setting is one of Lhasa's most beautiful monasteries. There was a time when a community of more than 5,000 monks resided in this monasterybefore beingdestroyed by the Chinese. Jokhang Temple, situated in the centre of Old Lhasa. It is here that the Tibet's most precious religious relic 'A Golden Shakyamuni Buddha' is housed.It was brought as a gift by the Chinese Princess Wen Cheng on the occasion of her wedding to the Tibetan King, SongtsenGompo. You also visit Barkhor Market place, which is the centre of religious and social activities in Lhasa.

Day 06: Lhasa – Kathmandu Proceed to the airport to catch your flight to Kathmandu.
