Day 02 Kathmandu Take a city tour of Kathmandu in the morning. Surrounded by the towering snow-clad mountains of the Himalyan range it is an extraordinary land only now entering the 20th century. Strollthrough the narrow cobbled streets of the old Kathmandu city. Pay a visitto many of its ancient temples among which the most extraordinary is the Temple of Kumari or the living Goddess where a little girl lives in her temple complex showering blessings to her many followers and devotees. Also visit the Hanuman Dhoka the ancient Royal Palace complex of structures that comprises of a series of 14 courtyards of which Nasal Chowk is still used for Royal ceremonies including coronation.
In the afternoon visit Patan. Patan is the cradle of arts and architecture of the valley with 136 courtyards and 55 major temples. The most eminent among these temples are the Krishna Mandir, Hiranya Varna Mahavir, Kumbheshwar temple, Mahaboudha and Jagatnarayan temple. The Patan Durbar Square is regarded as one of the finest urban street scapes in the world. One can have glimpses of the artisans crafting amazingfine and exclusive pieces from wood, stone etc. The Patan Museum has on display the traditional sacred art of Nepal in an illustrious architectural style. Its living place is an old residential court of Patan Durbar, one of the royal palaces of the former Malla kings of the Kathmandu valley. The items on display in the museum cover a long span of Nepal's cultural history and some rare objects are among its famed treasures. Their meaning and context within the living traditions of Hinduism and Buddhism are explained.

Day 03 Kathmandu - Pokhara In the morning embark on journey to Pokhara (200 km). On arriving in Pokhara - check-in at hotel.
Pokhara valley is a remarkable place of natural beauty. It is one of the most picturesque spot of Nepal. The lovely lakes of Pokhara originating from the glacial region of the Annapurna range of the Himalayas just add to its beauty. Locatedwest of Kathmandu at height of 827 meter from the sea level, for the mountain viewers, Pokhara offers a wonderful view of Dhaulagiri, Machapuchre (Fishtail), five peaks of Annapurna and others. Pokhara is the only place in the world to provide such a magnificient views in a sub-tropical setting bound to keep you spell bound.
In the afternoon enjoy sightseeing tour of Pokhara. Visit Phewa Lake, Mahendra caves, the Tibetan settlement and Ram bazaar. Proceed for an overnight stay at hotel.
Day 04 Pokhara - Kathmandu In the morning start your journey back to Kathmandu.
Travel to Bodhnath. Bodhnathis the largest single stupa in the world from where a towering golden pinnacle the painted eyes of the all-seeing Buddha gaze across the valley in every direction.Proceed ahead with your visit to the Pashupatinath temple situated on the banks of Bagmati River.This temple is the most holy revered temples of the entire Hindu world. Entrance into the temple is restricted and is only permitted to Hindus. Visitors from other faith can clearly see the temple and catch up with the activities performed in the temple premises from the eastern bank of the Bagmati River. You will also see the cremations being performed on the banks of Bagmati River which is a common sighting here.
In the afternoon visit Bhadgaon - home of medieval art and architecture, also known as Bhaktapur or the city of the devotees. Bhaktapur was created by Raja Ananda Malla in the year 889 A.D. Raja designed his kingdom in the shape of Shiva conch shell or Shiva' drum.
Proceed to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 05 Kathmandu - Onward Destination Travel to the Kathmandu international airport in the day to catch flight for your onward journey.
