Aurangabad city of Maharashtra is named after Aurangzeb, the Mughal emperor is situated on the banks of River Kham. Buddhist cave monuments Ajanta and Ellora caves located here are World Heritage sites and attract tourists from all over world. It was also under Moghuls for a long period so one can see historical monuments belonging to Mughal period here. Some of them are Bibi-Ka-Maqbara and Deogiri Fort.

Day 01: Abroad Bombay

On your arrivalat Mumbai International airport you will be met by our representative and transferred to hotel. The rooms would be booked from the previous night so as to provide you immediate occupancy. On arriving at the hotel the guests will be given a traditional Indian welcome consisting of aartitikka and garlands. Relax overnight at hotel.


Day 02: Bombay

Enjoy a relishing breakfast at the hotel.

Spend morning at leisure for your own activities like swimming, etc. Enjoy lunch at the hotel.


In the afternoon embark on a city tour of Bombay. Bombay is one of the greatest port city with its Victorian Gothic buildings from the British Raj Era mingling with the modern. The tour includes 'Gateway of India' overlooking the Harbour, the 'Towers of Silence', 'Marine Drive', the 'Colaba Causeway' - the commercial heart of Bombay and the Dhobi Ghat, the notable and colorful outdoor 'laundry'. Travelupto the Malabar Hill to the lovely 'Hanging Gardens' and the Kamla Nehru Park from where you can enjoy a picturesque view of Mumbai and the Arabian Sea, spread out before you. Visit Mani Bhawan, a small museum devoted to the life and works of Mahatma Gandhi., Also visit the bustling Crawford Market. Spend night at hotel.


Day 03: Bombay - Aurangabad

In the morning after having Breakfast takeone hour boat ride across Mumbai Harbour to the lush green Elephanta Island. On the Island you can visit some of the huge and intricately carved Elephanta Caves dating back to the 8th century. Rows of massive columns are cut into solid rock from three magnificent avenues, lead to the outstanding three-headed sculpture representing Brahma the Creator, Vishnu the Preserver and Shiva the Destroyer. Devoted to Shiva, the beauty and power of these phenomenal sculptures depict a number overpowering manifestations of Shiva.


Late in the afternoon get transferred to the airport to catch flight to Aurangabad (1540/1625 hrs.). On arriving in Aurangabad you will be received by our representative and escorted to the hotel. Have dinner and relax overnight at the hotel.


Day 04: Aurangabad - Bombay

In the morning after having breakfast embark on a full day tour of Ajanta&Ellora Caves. Ajanta Caves - located 100 kms, a 2½ hour drive, northeast of Aurangabad in the Waghora valley. These fabulous rock-cut caves, 30 in number, date from 2nd BC to 7th Century AD. They are entirely Buddhist, unique in that they combine three forms of Art - architecture, sculpture and painting. The superb frescoes and paintings depict episodes from the Jataka stories and the life of Lord Buddha. (Closed on Mondays)


Ellora Caves are at a distance 30 kms from Aurangabad. These finest rock cut cave temples date back to 10th & 11th century and cover the three religions - Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism. Of the 34 caves that are both monasteries and temples, the most notable is the wonderfulKailasa temple. The entire structure of this temple was carved out of a monolith and took over almost 100 years to be completed. The temple itself is engraved with themes and incidents from the ancient folk tales and puranas in a style that leaves one in absolute delight.


Late in the afternoon drive to the airport to catch flight to Bombay (1730/1815 hrs.).


On arriving in Bombay you will be received by our representative and transferred to the hotel.

Day 05: Bombay - Udaipur

Wake up early in the morning to be transferred to the airport to catch flight to Udaipur (1555/0740 hrs.).
