Day 01 Arrive Colombo On arrival in Colombo you will be received by our representative who will transfer you to the hotel. Check in at hotel. Night stay is at hotel.
Day 02 Colombo - Dambulla Early in the morning set out on an outing tour to Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage.
Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage was started in 1975 with an objective to house the abandoned and the wounded elephants. This orphanage has now grown into being a big family today. You cannot take a chance to miss this unique experience. From here you travel to Dambulla. On arriving in Dambulla, check-in at the hotel.In the afternoon take a climb to the Sigiriya Rock Fortress. From here you visit Batik Factory where you can watch beautiful Batik prints being manufactured. In this shop find a huge range of Batik items. Sigiriya is also the home to the 5th Century "Fortress in the Sky" which is perhaps the most enthralling single wonder of the Island. It is also famous as Lion Rock because of the huge lion sculpture that used to stand at the entrance to the fortress. Within it triple-moated defense the gigantic rock rises almost to a sheer height of 500ft. On its peak are the foundations of what was once a great and splendid palace and gardens complete with swimming pool. On one of the stairways the only known ancient work of Sinhala secular painting lived in the form of frescoes of life sized damsels in all the newness and delicacy of their original color. Fact that Sigiriya could never be conquered by any of the invading forces had a long lastingeffect on the island of Sri Lanka It however, ceded its control to the British during the colonial rule without use of any force.
After this visit you embark an elephant back safari in Habarana.

Day 03 Dambulla - Kandy In the morning after having breakfast take a journey to Kandy. En route visit the Dambulla cave temple and a spice garden in Matale. Dambulla - Dambulla is famed for its five cave Temples on a rock. The first 3 of the 5 caves are better, older and larger than the other two. Some caves date back to 1st C.B.C. All the 5 cave walls and ceilings are sculptured with Buddhist murals and there are more than 130 Buddha statues, statues of Gods and Kings are also found here.
On arriving in Kandy, check-in at hotel.
In the afternoon take a city tour of Kandy including a visit to the gem laboratory and a silk factory.
Kandy - the hill capital hosts the annual Perahera. It was the last stronghold of the Sinhala Kings which finally ceded to the British in 1815. Kandy is a perfect example of the Buddhism's influence in Sri Lanka today. Buddhist traditions are kept alive everywhere in temple shrines and monasteries.
Spend your evening watching a cultural show featuring the exotic traditional dances of Sri Lanka.

Day 04 Kandy - NuwaraEliya In the morning after having breakfast proceed on a visit to the temple of the tooth relic.
Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic came into existence ever since 4th Century A.D, when the Buddha's Tooth was brought to Sri Lanka hidden from disrespectful hands hidden in an Orissan princess' hair, the Relic has grown in repute and holiness in Sri Lanka and throughout the Buddhist world. It is regarded as Sri Lanka's most revered and precious possession.
Thereafter set on a drive to NuwaraEliya, visiting a tea estate and a factory en route.
NuwaraEliya also known as the 'Little England' of Sri Lanka, is set against beautiful view of Mountains, Valleys, Waterfalls and Tea Plantations in the backdrop. It is considered to be one of the coldest places on the island, but is really just like an England spring day although the temperature does drop at night. Everywhere around NuwaraEliya you will see evidence of the British influence. Houses here resemble country cottages or Queen Ann style mansions.
Proceed to the hotel. Rest and relax overnight at the hotel.
Day 05 NuwaraEliya - Kithulgala - Katunayake In the morning after breakfast embark on a drive to Katunayake via Kithulgala.
Have an enjoyable time raftingin White water atKithulgala. Carry onward with your journey to Katunayake. On arriving in Katunayake, check-in at hotel.
Relax overnight at the hotel.
Day 06 Katunayake - Colombo - Onward destination Drive to Colombo Airport in the day to catch a flight to your onward destination.
